At the age of six weeks old, Bella shot her first pictorial for “Parents Magazine”. She has graced the covers of many magazines since then. Thorne was diagnosed with dyslexia in first grade and after being bullied in a public school, she was home-schooled. She discussed her dyslexia in an April 2010 interview with American Cheerleader magazine and explained that she overcame her dyslexia by rigorously reading everything she could find, including the labels of cereal boxes!

Thorne’s been acting since a young age, appearing on Entourage and playing a young Taylor Townsend on The O.C. She also did big roles in; Big Love and the short-lived My Own Worst Enemy (alongside Twilight’s Taylor Lautner). She finally broke out in 2010 on the Disney comedy Shake It Up alongside Zendaya. During Shake It Up’s three seasons, Thorne starred in other Disney originals and worked on music, releasing a couple pop singles that made the Billboard charts.
